Mindfulbody T'ai Chi

T'ai Chi is a centuries-old discipline for health, relaxation, meditation and self-defense. First developed in China, this martial art emphasizes self-cultivation. It can be learned by anyone, regardless of age or physical condition. Recent studies have confirmed that T'ai Chi practice improves balance, reduces symptoms of high blood pressure and helps relieve symptoms of arthritis, anxiety, digestive disorders and sleep disturbances. Through practice, one finds a greater sense of well-being, as well as improved concentration. By increasing the free flow of energy or "Chi" to one's whole being, Mindfulbody Tai Chi helps to restore the harmony and balance of one's physical, mental, and spiritual natures.
